Our philosophy

Limited on purpose.

Most messaging apps start open, and ask parents to lock them down. Tuck starts closed. Every feature we didn't build was a choice — because keeping a child safe matters more than helping an app grow.

Here's what we said no to, and why.

The rules are strict. The experience isn't.

We said no to a lot. What's left is the good part: a small, warm place for a child to talk with the people they actually know — and for a parent to stop worrying about the rest.

Tuck is built by parents who wanted a safe place for their kids to chat to their real-life friends, without opening the door to social media. We'd rather make a smaller app we're proud to hand our own children than a bigger one we're not.
